BREAKING: Troops, CJTF wipe out dozens of Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters in Borno’s deadly encounter (+PHOTOS)

Nigerian troops of 195 Battalion on Tuesday eliminated dozens of Boko Haram/ Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists during a fierce encounter in Borno State.

The troops alongside courageous operatives of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) were said to have stormed the dreaded terrorists hideouts during a clearance operation in Kasha Kasha area, leading to the elimination of the fighters and recovery of weapons.

This was made known in a terse post on Nigerian Army’s Twitter handle on Tuesday, which was accompanied with pictures of the terrorists that were sent away from their earthly journey.

It reads : “Gallant troops of 195 Battalion in conjunction with members of CJTF on a clearance operation neutralized several ISWAP/BokoHaram at Kasha Kasha In Borno State today 26 April 2022. Weapons & ammunition amongst others were also recovered.”
