Resto then decided to record a clip for social media to capture the man’s plight and share it with others, not to ridicule him, but to make people aware of this man’s suffering. “I sat in front of him and made a Snapchat video of the man. It was crazy that everyone just watched him and didn’t do anything,” Resto said.

Resto was very touched to see the man like this. It was obvious that the man was cold and hungry. Resto wanted to help the homeless person and soon came up with a solution. He approached the man and gave him his shirt and a hat. Resto did not realize that Lazaro El Feo was recording this.

Lazaro filmed that Resto took off his shirt and put it on the poor man. Resto even checked if the shirt fitted properly. In an interview with the WABC radio station, Resto said the homeless man looked so weak; he had to help him because otherwise, he would probably have difficulties putting on the T-shirt.

He didn’t care that people were staring at him. “I was wearing a big tank top, so I was ready to withstand the cold,” he joked during an interview with Fox5. While the camera kept filming, Resto returned to the man with a black knitted beanie, which he carefully placed on his head. “It was the least I could do.

However, I didn’t know what his reaction would be,” he told Fox5. He gave the man his shirt because it was the best thing he could do for the man at the time. Resto then invited the man to come to his house with coffee, a hot meal, and more clothes.

The man agreed. However, during the drive to Resto’s house, the man had fallen asleep. When Resto had to get out, he did not want to wake the man. He slept curled up in a corner, and it was probably the first time in a long time that he was warm and comfortable again.
