Newborn Twins Refuse To Stop Hugging One Another As They Don’t Realize They’ve Been Born

Twins start their life together in the mother’s womb and then they enter our world together. Their relationship is particularly intense throughout their whole life.

There was a video on Youtube of two baby twins, a boy, and a girl, wrapping their arms around each other while enjoying a post-birth bath.

They are hugging each other during a Thalasso baby bath, or “Thalasso bain bébé”.

This kind of bath is given to mimic their life inside the womb. The babies hug and float in the arms and hands of an adult, and while water streams over their tiny bodies they look calm and happy.

In 2015, this video was taken at a maternity clinic and had over 20 million views. People were in love with the newborn twins who are completely unaware that they had even been born yet.

The newborn babies leave the warm womb of the mother and enter the outside world, so the birth is a shocking change for them.

Because of that, Sonia Rochel, a French nurse at the Clinique de Muette in France, developed the Thalasso baby bath with over 30 years of experience.

This relaxing bath soothes this entry into the world.

Rochel gives babies a warm bath with a gentle flow of water over their head and eyes just after birth and massages the babies for 15 minutes, without using any gels or creams.

She encourages them to make bath time a restorative nighttime routine. But, she does not recommend parents to try it at home without prior training and knowledge.

She was trained to give babies a short bath after birth like for every nurse. One day, she realized how much she enjoyed the water that was streaming on her face. Then she was convinced that babies would love it too.

So, she tried massaging the babies with running water, and the babies moved just like they did while in the womb.

According to her, this allows them to remember their life before birth. She claims that 90% of babies are no longer crying after the bath as she incorporates music into the technique.

The Thalasso Baby Bath is given for newborn babies between 0-2 months of age. There are now certified professionals that perform this technique in Quebec, and Canada too.
