Baby born at 18 weeks when the mother put him on her Chest she was shocked
This is a heart-wrenching and touching story of a premature baby named Jackson and his family’s journey. Jackson was born at 18 weeks of gestation, a time when the majority of babies are not yet ready to survive outside the womb. Despite the odds stacked against him, Jackson’s birth was a profound and deeply emotional experience for his parents, Charity and Matt, and their two other children, Ryan and Kaylee.
Charity was diagnosed with placenta previa, a condition where the placenta attaches to the wrong spot in the uterus, obstructing the cervix. Initially, doctors hoped the condition would resolve on its own, but Charity’s bleeding continued to worsen, putting both her life and the baby’s life at risk.
Doctors presented Charity with the option to terminate the pregnancy due to the complications, but she and her husband, Matt, were determined to give their baby a chance at life. They believed that their child was a living, breathing being deserving of love and respect.
One fateful night, Charity began experiencing contractions, and her baby was on the verge of being born prematurely. In a rush to get to the hospital, the entire family, including their other children, Ryan and Kaylee, piled into the car. Charity’s labor was progressing rapidly, and by the time she reached the hospital, the baby was already descending.
In the delivery room, an ultrasound revealed that the baby was about to be born, and Charity was urged to push. In a remarkable and emotional turn of events, Jackson was born while still encased in his amniotic sac. Initially, everyone in the room assumed that the baby had been born lifeless because his heartbeat was barely detectable on a prior ultrasound.
However, when the amniotic sac was opened, it became evident that Jackson was alive. He exhibited signs of life, including breathing and a beating heart, which medical staff initially attributed to electrical impulses but which Charity and Matt believed were signs of life.
The family spent precious moments together with their living son, named Jackson, who was perfect in every way. They marveled at his tiny, perfectly formed body, his fingers, toes, ears, nose, mouth, and more. The family cherished this time, even though they knew it would be brief.
Jackson was held and loved by his family for about half an hour, an experience that left a lasting impact on them. Charity and Matt captured this precious time on film, allowing them to remember their son’s short but meaningful life.
After a while, the signs of life began to fade, and Jackson passed away in his parents’ arms. He was laid to rest with love and respect, and the family believes that they will be reunited with him in the afterlife.
Charity and Matt’s Christian faith gives them hope that they will see Jackson again one day in paradise. They continue to remember and honor him, sharing his story as a way to emphasize the humanity of preborn babies and advocate for their respect and protection.
The Tanner family’s journey with Jackson reminds us of the profound love and respect that can exist for even the tiniest and most vulnerable among us. Jackson’s story serves as a powerful testament to the value of every human life, regardless of gestational age, and the enduring love that families hold for their children, even in the face of loss.
