Mom, Please Take Me Away From Here” Girl Writes to Her Dead Mum. What Happened Next is Incredible

When every sliver of hope turned into darkness and despair, little Vicky sent a letter to her mom, begging her to take her away from her evil Auntie. Days passed by, yet Vicky got no answer. But just when she was starting to lose hope, something incredible happened.

On a Friday afternoon in March 2018, Vicky sat alone in the corner of her school while her schoolmates made their way to the parking lot where their parents were waiting. She watched as they all left with excitement and anticipation for the weekend ahead, but she was stuck at school as her mom hadn’t come for her yet. Some parents offered her a ride home, but Vicky politely declined with an assuring smile, saying, “Mommy will be here soon.”

Vicky and her mom, Bethany, had an incredibly strong bond, which only grew stronger after Vicky’s dad, Simeon, passed away. After his death, Vicky vowed to do everything in her power to make sure her mother never felt lonely or sad again. True to her words, Vicky found creative ways to express her appreciation and love for her mother. The two shared a special connection that was truly unbreakable, and they felt lucky to have each other.

Bethany was always the first parent to arrive at school after closing hours, as she never wanted her daughter to worry or wait for too long. Since Simeon’s passing, Vicky was often scared that her mother would leave too, but Bethany did all she could to reassure her that this would not happen. With time, little Vicky came to trust her mother’s words, so even after an hour passed by on that Friday afternoon and Bethany still hadn’t shown up, Vicky was still certain she would come. Perhaps she was just busy with laundry or baking some cookies for her, Vicky thought as she played with her shoelace.

Soon, an hour passed, then two, and then three, yet there was no sign of Bethany. By then, poor Vicky had started to get really worried and scared. “Do you want me to take you home?” another parent asked as they saw the little girl still waiting on their way to do some groceries. Vicky shook her head, fighting back her tears.

After four long hours, the school was finally empty and quiet. All the students had gone home, leaving only Vicky behind, feeling dejected and sad. Vicky buried her face in her palms as she softly whimpered. A few moments later, someone tapped her shoulder from behind.

Vicky was frightened, and from the pressure of the touch, she could tell it wasn’t her mother. Raising her head, Vicky was shocked to see a middle-aged policeman who quickly introduced himself as Collins before telling her he was there to pick her up. Then he helped her up.

Vicky wanted to resist and stay until her mother arrived, but the police officer’s grip on her hand was gentle yet firm, so she had no choice but to follow as he led her towards the police van. By then, Vicky didn’t need a soothsayer to tell her that something was wrong; her heart was in her throat.

Little Vicky nervously asked, “Why is my mom?” The policeman’s face fell; he knew his answer would break the young girl’s heart, but he had no choice but to tell her. Taking a deep breath, he gently said, “I want you to be strong like your mom taught you.” Then he told Vicky that her mom was involved in an accident on her way to pick her up from school and that she passed away instantly. He then told Vicky that someone was waiting for her at the police station.

“Who? I don’t want anyone else; I want my mom,” Vicky cried. Then she threw herself on the ground and cried. Her sobs were uncontrollable as she felt a wave of emotion wash over her. The policeman was quite understanding; he pulled Vicky into his arms and let her cry on his shoulder. They remained in this position for over an hour until poor Vicky whispered, “Let’s go now.”

When they got to the police station, Vicky was terrified to see Aunt Tasha. Vicky knew that Aunt Tasha and her mom never got along. They had lots of quarrels because Aunt Tasha felt cheated that their dad had given Bethany his property instead of leaving it to his eldest daughter, Tasha. Despite this, Vicky knew she had no choice but to go home with her aunt.

As she got into her aunt’s car, the policeman assured her that she was in good hands. She only hoped that he was right. After an hour’s drive, Vicky finally arrived at her aunt’s house. As soon as she stepped inside, she saw Aunt Tasha’s only daughter, Priscilla, a 12-year-old who rolled her eyes at Vicky and let out a loud hiss before running to her room.

While Vicky was expecting Aunt Tasha to call her daughter to order, she got the shock of her life. Aunt Tasha immediately made it clear to her that she wouldn’t live rent-free in her house. She would have to work for everything: electricity, water, shelter, and food.

“Do you understand me?” Aunt Tasha yelled as she showed a teary Vicky to her room. It was a tiny, dimly lit room with a bed that had seen better days. The dusty room was littered with boxes and other unwanted possessions.

From that moment on, Aunt Tasha made it clear to Vicky that she didn’t like her. She only took Vicky in because she was the heiress to her mother’s property. She knew she could claim everything that once belonged to her late sister by adopting her orphaned daughter. Aunt Tasha created a timetable for Vicky’s chores. The little girl would start with doing the dirty dishes and washing the smelly rags, then she would sweep Priscilla’s room.

Vicky did all this without complaining. All she ever did was shed tears. Each weekend, Aunt Tasha and her daughter would go out, leaving Vicky behind. They would return with pizza and ice cream and then ask Vicky to just sit there while they ate. The saddest part: they wouldn’t give Vicky anything, and she would still have to clear their plates and wash them.

Vicky endured all these harsh treatments, but the final straw for her was when Priscilla cut off the hair of her beloved doll, and Aunt Tasha did nothing about it. Overwhelmed with emotion, Vicky ran to her room, shut the door, and cried at the top of her lungs. It was during this moment that an idea suddenly came to her mind. She thought of writing a letter to her deceased mother and dropping it in the mailbox on her way to school.

While tears filled her eyes, Vicky wrote, “Dear Mommy, I do not like living in this place. Aunt Tasha and Priscilla are terrible. They make me do all the dirty work. My hands hurt, Mommy. My bed is not comfortable. I know you taught me to be strong, but I’m tired, Mommy. Please take me away from here.”

On her way to school the next day, she placed the letter in the mailbox. Upon returning home, she noticed that it had been collected. Vicky was optimistic that the letter would get to her dear mom and that she would send someone to help her. Unfortunately, days rolled by yet Vicky got no response.

To make matters worse, her aunt and cousin continued to subject her to all sorts of harsh treatment. Two weeks later, which fell on Vicky’s eighth birthday, the situation finally reached a boiling point. Vicky had saved up her weekly allowance and bought a small cake and candles to celebrate her birthday. Just as she was about to make a wish, Aunt Tasha and her daughter burst into her room.

Aunt Tasha approached Vicky and yanked her ear before throwing the tiny cake on the ground and stomping it into pieces. “You aren’t allowed to celebrate birthdays!” she screamed. At this point, Vicky knew she could no longer stay with this evil woman and her spoiled daughter. She ran to her room, picked up a few things, and ran downstairs and towards the front door.

But just as she flung the door open, she was shocked to see the street’s mailman, a policeman, and the Child Protective Service investigator at the doorway. “Hey, are you Vicky? Is everything okay? We got your letter,” the CPS said.

Vicky’s sobs echoed in the air as she threw herself into the loving woman’s arms, pleading for help. “Please save me,” she begged. The woman embraced Vicky tightly and offered whatever comfort she could. “It’s okay; we’re here now. The mailman saw your post and brought it to us,” the Child Protective Service investigator, called Gloria, assured.

Upon investigating the house, the officials were horrified to see Vicky’s dirty and poorly ventilated room with more than enough evidence of neglect. They knew it was time for Vicky to leave Aunt Tasha’s home and find somewhere safe and secure to live in. “Would you like to stay with me for a few weeks before we find you a foster family?” Gloria asked softly.

Vicky nodded. Three years ago, Gloria had lost her only child to an asthma attack. Her daughter was just the same age as Vicky, so Gloria was filled with compassion for the little girl. In no time, Gloria and little Vicky formed a strong attachment to each other. In fact, they both felt like they were each other’s missing pieces.

Gloria was certain that letting Vicky go would be the biggest mistake of her life, so she decided to adopt her. The adoption process went smoothly, and soon enough, Vicky was officially Gloria’s daughter, and they lived happily ever after.

Aunt Tasha was eventually charged in court and was ordered to pay a huge sum to Vicky for emotional damages.
