Harbor City International Airport was as busy as ever, with travelers rushing by, announcements echoing, and suitcase wheels rolling across the floors. Officer Ava Brooks walked calmly through Terminal B, holding the leash of her K9 partner, Bolt. Bolt was a sharp, well-trained Belgian Malinois with alert eyes and a nose that never missed a thing. They were just doing a normal patrol, not expecting anything unusual. But Bolt had a habit of surprising her.
