The family of Chief Ramon Adedoyin, the owner of Hilton Hotel Ile-Ife, Osun State, has reacted to the recent saga that the hotelier is a ritualist.
The family who responded via social media told Nigerians to put an end to calling Chief Adedoyin a ritualist on social media.
The family believed that Adedoyin’s hands are clean on the unfortunate death of Mr. Timothy Adegoke who was running his master at Obafemi Awolowo University, and not a ritualist as portrayed on social media.
Mr. Abiodun Williams, the lawyer to the family released a statement on behalf of the family said that alleged that the owner of the hotel has businesses being managed by his workers on his behalf.
Like every other Nigerian and parent, Adedoyin expressed sadness on the death of the promising student.
It should be known that the Chief is an educationist and hotelier who has businesses with investments in different sectors of the economy.
He does not involve in the daily basis of running of the hotel and also his other businesses who are being handled by hundreds of his employees, part of the statement reads.
Also that it is calling on the media, especially the bloggers to substantiate any information before going to press and also to allow the police to perform a proper investigation on the incident that led to the death of Mr. Timothy to allow justice to have its way.
The statement also contained that the police should not be distracted by the rumors on social media to remain professional in their duty.
The family expresses their sincere sympathy to the family of the late student and prays that God will comfort them.
