“How Did Gunmen Bypass DSS And Police Headquarters in the Area During Prison Attack?” -Babajide

Ace Nigerians Journalist, Babajide Kolade Otitoju, has raised vital questions regarding the recent attack on a correctional facility in Jos, Plateau state. During his interview on TVC News, Babajide revealed that the prison records were set ablaze by the assailants.

You may recall that some armed men recently attacked a Correctional facility in Jos, thereby causing unrest in some parts of the state capital.

Addressing the issue, Babajide said, “It may interest you to know that the DSS Office in Jos and the Police Headquarters in the state are within the area where the correctional facility is located. The question arises regarding how the armed men managed to bypass both facilities during the attack on the correctional centre. The records office and the IT facility of the correctional centre were set ablaze during the attack.”

Speaking further, Babajide added, “They set the records office and the IT facility ablaze to hinder the ability to profile escapees. One of the invaders lost his life. I believe the rest of them escaped, and I do not think that they got trapped.”

  1. Yes, I believe there’s more to this attack than we were made to believe. The attack was well coordinated especially as the IT and records offices were also completely destroyed. Let this and indeed all previous attacks on our correctional centers and other sensitive institutions be holistically investigated with a view to avoiding such an embarrassing situations in the future.

  2. Killing, armed robbery, kidnapping and banditary are given free access to operate in the north without any let or hindrance but not in the south. The security apparatus in the north has been warned to step down their operations against criminal elements until buhari leaves office.
