The Special Adviser to Lagos State Government on Drainage and Water Resources, Joe Igbokwe has reacted to the state of insecurity in Nigeria. It is no longer news one of the biggest challenge being faced by the President Muhammadu Buhari’s led federal government, is the issue of insecurity.
The constant attacks carried out by Boko Haram Insurgents, ISWAP and Bandits in the country lately, is unprecedented. Although the federal government has achieved a remarkable success in the fight against Boko Haram, as we have seen so many of them surrender their weapons to the Nigerian Army, but bandits are currently causing a whole lot of panic in the nation. Recall that over a week ago, gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked the Nigerian Defense Academy, killed two military officer and abducted another.
Reacting to the inhumane activities of bandits in Nigeria, Joe Igbokwe took to his Facebook page to reveal that it is now clear to him that Nigeria is at war against Bandits. Joe Igbokwe’s statement comes few days after the federal government acquired Super Tucano fighter jets to combat insecurity in the country.
The APC Chieftain shared photos of the Nigerian army going all out to fetch out these evildoers (bandits), in a bid to restore peace in the nation, especially in the Northern region.
