I’m A Christian, Wanted To Marry A Muslim & This Is What Happened To Me After I Made That Decision
My name is Ruth Gyamfua from the Ashanti Region of Ghana. I am 29 years old and I am a teacher by profession. I was born and raised in Nsuta in the Sekyere central district in the Ashanti region. I am currently living together with my parents in Amakom-Kumasi.
I am 29 years old now and I will be 30 years old on July 1st of this year. I am the only daughter of my parents and. My father is a contractor and my mother is Banker. We are all Christian, and God-fearing people. In my life, I have been in a relationship with three (3) different men and none of them was ready to settle down with me.
God has been so good I have gotten who want to settle down with me but he is a Muslim and my parents don’t agree. After my third relationship, I made the decision not to be with any Christian man. Though I didn’t tell my parent about this decision because I believe my old enough to decide for myself.
After I introduced him to my parents. It has resulted in a great brouhaha between me and my parents like the 2020 election of Ghana. Now my parents have decided to disown me if I decide to settle down with a Muslim.
Now I am confused about what to do since I don’t want to lose him and my parents also don’t agree for me to get married to a Muslim. He is the only person who has shown me, real love, comparing to the three guys I have dated and he has even gone further to settle down with me forever. I am now contemplating what to do to convince my parents.
Please I will like the readers of this article to help me in making this decision, either I should follow my parents or follow my heart.
