Black man slams his racist white Tinder date after she refused to meet him in a ‘black people’s bar’ because ‘they make her uncomfortable’ – as his sister calls the woman out online
A ‘racist’ white woman from Tinder wouldn’t meet her date inside a ‘black ppl’s place’ because she wouldn’t ‘feel comfortable’ there – despite her date being a black man.
The unnamed guy, from the UK, told his would-be date that he’d meet her upstairs in a pre-arranged establishment, but she insisted she would rather wait outside for him – and her reason was shocking.
She explained: ‘I don’t like going to black ppl’s places by myself,’ followed by a nervous-faced emoji.

Alongside screen grabs of the conversation she wrote: ‘So my brother just went on a date with a white woman from Tinder and apparently she doesn’t like being around black people. After the lady’s initial comment, she continued that she would ‘never go to the Rum Kitchen by herself’ as the last time she went there she was ‘nearly the only one white person there.’
Somehow able to remain calm and collected, the young man responded with a simple: ‘So.
After explaining that she ‘wouldn’t feel comfortable’ he told her: ‘Going to be honest, I really don’t like what you’re saying. If you’re uncomfortable about black people why are we meeting?’.
The man’s sister Annabel later revealed that the messages got worse after her brother wisely blocked the woman in question.
She then appeared to write to him on Instagram to continue her outburst and penned: ‘I think it’s very rude to just block someone when travelling 1.5 hour. But it’s OK. I wish you all the best.’
She added:Â ‘Probably one of the reasons I prefer to stay away from Nigerians. You’re just on a different level.’
In the screenshots, Annabel’s brother describes the woman’s comments as rude, but other people were quick to brand it racist, including Annabel who said it was ‘racist AF’.
‘A harsh reminder to black folk that someone dating you doesn’t mean that are not racist AF. Ask questions early, take them to black spaces and save yourself some mental trauma,’ she tweeted.
Another user agreed and commented: ‘Your brother did well to dodge that one. Perhaps that should be his go-to 1st date place to weed out the racists.’
‘That whole interaction has weirded me out. Why did she think that it was ok to say it? I mean, just so casual…’ added another.
Another person added that the whole conversation got ‘weirder and weirder’ as it went on.
