Do These Things Before you Pray and You Will See Your Life Changing Every Day
Why do many pray and get no results?
Besides the wrong prayer points or the wrong reasons for asking what you are asking for in prayers, there are procedures that must be observed BEFORE you pray. These procedures put in a particular state of being to present oneself before God.
It is true that prayer is the key to almost all problems and the solutions to almost all challenges. Prayer may not solve a problem, but it can provide direction, clarity, and peace of mind that will eventually lead to the right solution or the right person or help. It is also true that God answers prayer.
In other words, the entry point is an intentional ascent to the hill of the Lord and standing in his holy place. It suggests an awareness of the presence of God when we go to pray. Therefore, wherever we choose to pray, we can become a holy place and the hill of the Lord. It is basically in the state of our mind.
Attitude is the key.
Attitude of concentration and concentration as well as respect and fear in the presence of God. There must be awareness that God is present with me here. Imagine what you would do or how you would behave and act if Jesus physically walked down the street with you or was with you in your room or wherever you are.
God is the God of protocols.
Let’s go through the protocols of Psalm 24: 3-7.
Who will go up to the hill of the Lord? And who will stand in his holy place?
These are not questions in themselves, but revealing questions suggesting that if a man/woman will go up the hill of the Lord; if a man/woman is standing in their holy place.
You can pray in the toilet, in the bathroom, on the road. But the main thing is that you are ready in your mind to have a meeting with Almighty God.
However, there are conditions for ascension and standing before God;
Psalm 24 speaks of clean hands as a condition of entry into the holy place of God. Our represents our relationships, our activities. It also includes our body – the hands represent our body – what we do with our body. The hands represent what we do.
The state of our heart is essential when we come to God. The pure heart is important in the place of prayer. Sometimes it can represent your thoughts. You cannot pray with malice, hate, ruthlessness in your heart and expect God to come down or listen to you.
An evil heart is an obstacle to prayer
The Bible says that only the prayer of a righteous man is effective. And you can be fair when you take the steps mentioned so far. A pure heart also means that there is no lie in you. It means that you are sincere and genuine in
Cleanliness represents the state of our being; the way we live our lives. Does it please God? Yes of course it does.
After that comes the reception:
When you have done this, the Bible says that such a person is ready to receive the blessing of the Lord. It’s automatic because you’ve got the process in place. You will ask for little and get so much.
Your motivation for your prayer requests
Be careful what you say with your mouth, especially before you pray. God is not joking. You can’t use the same mouth that you lie with, make dirty jokes and curse people to pray to God.
Examine Yourself – Confession of Sins
So before you pray make sure your hands are not literally clean. It requires that you examine yourself and reflect on how you have lived your life before you go to pray. This is where the confession of sins comes in as well as the request for forgiveness of sins. Do not go into war or ask for prayer until you have first acknowledged your sins before God.
Even if you can’t remember it, just recognize the fact that you are not perfect and ask God for forgiveness. Psalm 51 can be very helpful in guiding you through this stage of preparing for prayer.
If you follow these steps correctly God will do wonders in your life….if you find this post beneficial like and share with your loved ones too
