How to Update Your Simcard With National ID Card, to Avoid Sim Block From Telecommunication Companies

There is currently panicking among Nigerians over the recent law that was created by NIN that anyone who fails to update his or her Sim Cards with his or her Nationals identity card will get disconnected from service providers.

Many Nigerian who has been using their simcard over some period of time will get devastated if their simcard got disconnected or terminated due to Business contact store in the simcard and it frustrating.

However, to avoid your simcard from getting disconnected or terminated do the following instructions:

Provide valid National Identification Number (NIN) to update SIM registration records. “The submission of NIN by subscribers to take place within two weeks, commencing Dec.16 and ending by Dec. 30. After the deadline, all SIMs without NINs are to be blocked from the networks.

Also announcing the development, Bashir Ahmed, a social media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari told Nigerians to “dial *346# to retrieve your NIN” or visit NIMC website to enrol for the national identification number.
