
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu introduced a cheque of N10 million each to groups of the six cops executed in Lagos State in the brutality that followed the End SARS fights.
Sanwo-Olu introduced the cheque on Thursday, Dec 3, in satisfaction of his offices vow made during a previous gathering with cops.
The cheques were introduced to the spouses and offspring of the killed officials at the fourteenth Town Hall meeting on security, held at Civic Center by the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), with the subject: “Lagos security: Resilience notwithstanding misfortune.”
The late cops are Yaro Edward, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP); Inspector Ayodeji Erinfolami; Inspector Aderibigbe Adegbenro; Inspector Samson Ehibor; Sergeant Bejide Abiodun and Inspector Igoche Cornelius.
Sanwo-Olu additionally reported offered grants to offspring of the dead officials up to college level.
