If We are Put out of Job, No south Africans Truck drivers Will Pass Our Border- Foreign Truck drivers send a Strong Warning
Foreigners from South Africa neighbouring countries have sent a strong message to the truck drives in South. This comes after most of the trucks have been set alight this week with many suggesting that it will difficult for South African drivers to cross the border.
According to Lotus FM, the foreign truck drivers are threatening to ban locals from crossing their borders, if forced out of their jobs. This will hurt the economy of all of countries it happens.
The All Truck Drivers Forum and Allied South Africa this week has expressed frustration and anger over saying that the foreigners should not be hired to drive the trucks in South Africa. They said that South Africans should be put first in order to reduce unemployment.
More than 20 trucks were set alight in a spate of violence across the country. Many have said that the freight companies are overlooking South African drivers, who have experience.
