Unkown Men Shot Prophet Bushiri Fellow Associate Malawian Prophet to Death in Cape Town
Crime is gradually taking tone here in South Africa. Everyday we wake up to hear incidences of crime here and there. Is this not the right time for government to restrategize and find ending solution to this seemingly new trend ? Just few days after Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, a Malawian South Africa based preacher and the founder of the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) Church fled to his home country with a pending criminal charges , a fellow associate pastor and Malawian Mduli Chirwa has been shot dead in Cape Town, South Africa.
Pastor Chirwa, is a young preacher from Malawi, he was killed in Cape Town area called Deft after few days his fellow national (Bushiri) made a claim that his life and that of his wife’s is being targeted.
In line with the information gathered by Nyasa Times, pastor Chirwa before he went to Deft, he was residing in Joe Slovo Park. However, according several reports pastor Chirwa was allegedly shot by armed robbers in Deft when he resisted the hijackers from from taking away his new car.
Nevertheless, the Church of Central African Presbyterian (CCAP) in Joe Slovo where he is in charge have however, started preparing his burial arrangements.
The Government led by Cyril Ramaphosa must as matter of urgency put necessary measures to stop the operation of all criminal activities in the country before it gets out of hand. Both citizens and foreigners here in South Africa deserve to be well protected against all forms of crime and acts that endanger public safety.
