Prophet Shepherd Bushiri was Seen Moving His Cars Out of South Africa in the Middle of the Night
According to Bushiri, five white police officers, three white lawyers and a white judge are not going to deliver justice for him as a black citizen.
According to the Minister of Home Affairs, Aaron Motsoaledi Bushiri & Mary’s Visas was fake, which was good enough for Judge Thandi Thelede not to issue them bail.
The Malawi Foreign Minister has vowed to defend Bushiri as every other Malawi resident. This is the pure patriosm of a nation that provides about its people. I know about a nation where patriotism is considered xenophobia.
“Malawi is a signatory to the SADC protocol and other legal instruments on extradition. We would not hesitate to use certain clauses and instruments to support law enforcement authorities in extraditing fugitives from justice,” they said.
The Malawi government has called on SA to make a formal case for the self-proclaimed Prophet, Shepherd Bushiri’s extradition. That’s according to the Malawi Media Minister.
Malawi’s Minister of Foreign Affairs said that it is the responsibility of the Government to secure all Malawi, but added that Pres Chakwera is a staunch supporter of the rule of law and that all diplomatic channels will remain available.
Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi told Eyewitness News that he was highly furious and profoundly worried about the fugitive Shepherd Bushiri and his wife, Mary, skipping the country because he thought anything like this might happen.
The pair was released on parole after being indicted for their suspected role in bribery and money laundering worth more than R100 million. The Pretoria Magistrates Court awarded the Bushiris bail, assured that there was no flight chance.
The Hawks stated that they had not informed the authorities of their terms of bail.
The Government has now begun a process to extradite them from Malawi.
“We knew he was at risk of flying, that’s why I claim I’m really upset. I personally think he shouldn’t have been bailed out The court is impartial, so I’m nuts, I have to warn you.”
Motsoaledi and the rest of the government are also confused about the way the Bushiris managed to flee South Africa.
The Minister agreed that he was not shocked that the Bushiris had missed the region.
He claimed that the pair had no authentic records on Home Relations, and that the authorities had sought to alert the court before bail had been issued.
“We’ve sent them proof in Home Affairs to convince them that the papers of this guy are all fake.”
“They were inconsistent, and if you have an unreliable guy, why do you believe he would adhere by the laws when he has never obeyed them. He has never met with any legislation in South Africa as far as we are concerned.”
Motsoaledi said there was a lesson for the whole government to learn now that the Bushiri had missed the region.
