Ginimbi’s Family Members Were Shocked After Seeing Ginimbi’s Final Will
The extravagant Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure died at the accident scene along Harare’s Legacy Way (formerly Borrowdale Road) in the early hours of Sunday after his imposing R5 million Rolls-Royce Wraith crashed into an oncoming pocket-sized Honda Fit before it veered off the road and smashed into a tree and went up in flames.
Three other people who were with Ginimbi in the Wraith were burnt beyond recognition, but the socialite’s body was reportedly flung out of the blazing vehicle.
Ginimbi rose to prominence at the age of 26 as a supplier of liquefied petroleum (LP) gas. That’s when he started hosting birthday parties. Though modest at the time, they drew the attention of the “who’s who” in Harare.
He would later become a social media star, with his life akin to a reality show. Over the years he bought expensive cars and was never shy to announce their acquisition.
According to reports reaching, to honour his wishes, his relatives and friends are going to throw a last all-white party for the businessman before he is laid to rest at his Mansion as they celebrate the great life and legacy he has left behind.
In an interview with a local publication The Herald, Ginimbi’s eldest sister Juliet, said that as a family there are going to honour Ginimbi’s wishes and host an all-white farewell party on Friday and an all-white burial on Saturday which is synonymous with his trademark dressing for the lavish parties that he used to host.
She said that Ginimbi always reminded them that he is a big boy and he would like to have a huge send off.
Well most people speculated about who will take over Ginimbi’s riches and business but it was just speculations and no one was sure. Some said zodwa, his ex-wife will take over everything and some said his sister will take over, others also said he has a daughter that will take over. But all it was all not true.
It looks like before Ginimbi died he had a will drafted but had scheduled to sign it on the 9th of November but for reasons he couldn’t control he died before he could. His father Anderson Kadungure told the publication that;
” He drafted some kinda documents that he arranged with his lawyers that he will sign on the 9th but unfortunately couldn’t make it to that day”
Despite not signing his will and all that it is revealed that his had his wishes clear on the document he drafted down. He wanted his expensive cars to be sold and the money donated to a charity and his mansion he wanted it turned into a hotel where people will always remember him when they go there.
His expensive clothes he wanted them burnt, just after his funeral he wanted his clothes burnt, according to information from a close friend or relative.
We all will see after his funeral if this wishes he made but couldn’t live just one more day to make them official by signing them will be fulfilled.
