After 20 Years Of Collecting Old Phones, See Photos Of His Phone Collections
You would certainly not fancy an idea of collecting old phones and keeping them in your custody for decades and tending to this phone as if they were the newly launched kibbles phones in town, but you are not Sehabettin Ozcelik, so you can’t possibly understand his reasoning for doing this
Starting out two decades ago as a repairer, he has accrued a set of over 1,000 phones. Nearly all of them are from the days before smartphones, when you actually had to press a button to call someone, rather than the computer.
Özçelik lives in Van, Turkey’s eastern province, and manages to collect telephones as he repairs them.
His collection used to be much higher, but two years ago, robbers broke into his house and stole 700 of them.
Ozcelik started collecting these phones 20 years ago after initiating the idea that a lot of phones will come his way as a repairer and that many of his customers will decide not to collect again, but instead he started to keep the hostess in his room
I decide to start a collection when he was interviewed by TRTWorld, Sehabettin Ozcelik said: “Thinking people will finally no longer be able to locate these models, I decide to start a collection.
I buy and repair no phones, I Leo them in my house. All the phones are in working conditions, batteries are intact. Burglars broke into my house two years ago and” stolen 700 items that I care deeply for.
What can you say to this?
