Lady narrates her “one-chance” experience in Abuja
according to her:
Sir, the reason for this tweet is to report atand hopefully get your help. On the 10th ofFebruary,2020, | unfortunately entered a “one-chance”vehicle from Gwarimpa express going to Life camp around9:30pm, | was brutalized while in the car, my phone, laptop and ATM cards (plus my ATM pin) were forcefully collected and while still in car,one of them went towithdraw from an ATM,ident to you| was later dropped off in Kubwa after about 2hrs driveround the city.(reported the incident at Gwarimpa Police station and the officer-in-charge told me to get a CCTV footage from thebank they made the withdrawals from, and that they will take it up. | went to the bank (Gtbank) to apply to see theCCTV footage and | was shown the face of the culprit(which by the way was a very clear picture). | thenrequested for the footage but | was told they can’t releaseit to me cos it’s against their code of conduct to givecustomers CCTV footages. | told them it was to enable aninvestigation and also showed them the police extract, butthe man-in-charge said even if it was the Police men orany security agency that came themselves, they wouldonly show it to them and not release it.
