Following the recent xenophobic attack in South Africa, a building belonging to telecommunication giant, MTN was set on in retaliation, was set on fire by Angry Youths . According to report, the office had earlier been shut over widespread attacks on South African companies in the country.
Irate protesters had on Tuesday, stormed some South African companies including PEP, Shoprite, attempting to vandalise and loot the offices but for the quick intervention of security operatives. The MTN office in Ibadan was said to have been set on fire midnight by angry individuals who reportedly regrouped in their large numbers to carry out the act.

Igbere TV had reported that irate protesters had attempted to vandalise the office during the day but security operatives resisted the attack. Meanwhile, some hoodlums regrouped at night and set the office on fire. Our correspondent currently monitoring the development.
