Indian Police in the area of Ludhiana, Punjab’s Khanna district have discovered and seized a drug of 200 grams of heroin from a Nigeria man, identified as Ezeke of Imo state , resides at Phase-5 in Uttam Nagar West in New Delhi of indian.
The Superintendent of police, Jasvir Singh, said he was arrested at a checkpoint on the national highway He was coming from the bus stand when the police stopped him for checking. When frisked, the police
prohibited 200g of heroin wrapped in a polythene bag from his possession.
According to police officials, the estimated cost of the consignment in the international market is around Rs 1 crore.
SSP, Khanna, Gursharandeep Singh said that the claims were booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at Doraha police station in indian proceeding action could be taken for him to face the law.
